ABC book

The alphabet was our theme for the 5 last weeks.

The kids created a decoration for their locker and we started our ABC Book.

(Nous avons travaillé sur l'alphabet ces cinq dernières semaines. Les enfants ont créé des décorations pour leur casier et nous avons commencé notre abécédaire).

We were inspired by the work of Loretta Grayson. She is an Australian artist who only uses cold and warm colours.

(Nous nous sommes inspiré du travail de Loretta Grayson, une artiste australienne qui utilise principalement des couleurs froides et chaudes dans ses œuvres).

Hattie comes in our class every Tuesday to teach the kids to sing in English !

One song that we love is of course the ABC song : (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJeyphJFVFI&t=6s) . Here, you can see Nicky, Louisa and Selena holding some pictures of objects or animals which are mentionned in the song. "A is for ant, B is for balloon and C is for caterpillar curled in a cocoon, D is for dinosaur...".

(Hattie vient tous les Mardis en classe pour faire chanter les enfants en anglais. Une chanson que nous adorons est bien-sûr la chanson de l'alphabet ! Vous pouvez voir Nicky, Louisa et Selena qui assiste Hattie en montrant à leurs camarades quelques objets/animaux mentionnés dans la chanson).

The kids rebuild Santa's train so that he can go and deliver all the presents !

(Les enfants reconstituent le train du Père-Noël afin qu'il puisse aller livrer les cadeaux !)
